Nowadays, a bunch of people are trying to find out: is the education in prisons the best way to reduce crime? I have my own standpoint and assumption about this matter. Therefore, if I think carefully about this issue, I can say that I am a partisan of the opinion that the growing number of prisoners will find a job after they are released thereby lowering the quantity of crime if they get education in the jail.
To give you an idea about my opinion, I am able to provide you several examples thus confirming that the education is literally a key for the reduction of offenses in our society. Initially, I ought to say that lack of knowledge produced wrongdoing because convicts, as a rule, have a low level of knowledge. Nevertheless, inmates have the limited access to the formation or no education at all up-to-date. And much more rarely to get the quality formation. Moreover, schooling is the legal human right and spread out on the detainees too. In the colonies it is possible, and sometimes necessary, to study. Thus, for a convicted person under 30 years of age with incomplete secondary education, obtaining one in prison will be mandatory, but higher education is at the request of the student, and according to the capabilities of the colony.
In conclusion, the need for education in prisons is enormous. I must admit that the education is important for success re-socialization and social adaptation, and offers real prospects for a future without relapse.
