In todays, world people are using extremely computers and mobile phones to contact or work in their daily life. That’s why it is effected negatively on reading and writing skills. However, I completely agree with this view because using the screen reduce the ability of gather knowledge and disconnected with pen and paper are making uncomfortable while people try to write something on paper.
On the main reason why I agree with this statement that is using computers and mobile phones are reduce our knowledge ability.Most of the time people waste their time on screen. Relying on technology is a curse for the nation because people reduce their interested from reading book .They can’t control their concentration properly that’s why in examination they can’t answer properly. As well as they are created their self as a burden of society. Consequently, they lose the ability to gain deep knowledge from books, and their vocabulary becomes very limited.
Furthermore, Now a days people are using different types of app which is facebook, what’s app and Instragram. So, In this app they are chatting with their friends and family. The main part is chatting or typing on keyboard is like a habit . For this reason most of the students are completely far away from pen and paper. For example when students are attend in the exam they feel uncomfortable because of the hand was like shaking. It feels very disturbing. As well as when they were chatting in social media platform they used various shortcut.For this reason they forgot the grammar rules and mistake in spellings
In conclusion, I firmly agree with the statement that is using more technology for communication hurts reading and writing. Technology destroy students handwriting and confidence also reduce their capability to gain knowledge.
