In recent years, there has been a debate over whether the goverment should concentrate on investing into public transportation to avoid congested roads and natural disasters, while another group of people consider building more roads as a solution to go.
On one hand, those who support investment into having more public transportation are trying to avoid two problems. So to say, kill two birds with one stone. Traffic jams are common, daily problems that gives headaches to everyone who face them. However, if there is a good considerable option like this, it should be made. Furthermore, by this investment, we could demonstrate and remind people what really matters. Saving, protecting our own spave, our Earth. Persuade people to them to be concerned about not only daily, visible problems, but moreover about global problems even if they’re not as apparent as other ones.
On the other hand, some are widely believed that just building up more roads is the best idea. It really makes sense. For transport owners, who are likely to use public transportation, or for those who couldn’t afford using it, due to not similar itinerary or job properties, constructing more roads to make the riding zone wider and stop suffering from and wasting time on stuffed up roads is as logical as first variety.
Comparing and considering pros and cons of each variety I came up with my own opinion on this certain topic. I am inclined to believe that goverment investment into public transportation is better option from any sides of view. Due to the fact that as consequence for establishing more roads we would face another and even bigger problem. Ait pollution.
