Some people believe that the responsibility of healthcare should be assigned for the government; in contrast, others think it should be an individual responsibility. I believe that healthcare should be available for everyone for free by the government.
Public healthcare should be available for residents by the government, because they pay taxes, so it is totally normal for the government to give population good and free healthcare. The main reason that makes every government work on making the healthcare free is cost-related problems that populations can not afford in accidents in any time in their lives. For example, New Work City made the national health service for free for every citizens; consequently, the common diseases and epidemics decrease gradually.
On the other hand, depending on the private healthcare can be beneficial in many situations, such as accidents, argent operations, or poisoning cases. Moreover, these hospitals have short waiting lists, which mean patients can receive a fast treatment. For instance, the countries that depend on private health service has lower death rates, because they are treated immediately without any delays. As a result many people prefer to depend on private hospitals to receive a high quality of service. Additionally, some people asks for unnecessary health services, which can be considered not from the government responsibility, and everyone have to pay for these extra personal services.
In conclusion, governments should make health services be free and affordable for residents; however, there are crucial needs for private healthcare to receive an immediate treatment in argent situations.
