Some people believe that the goverment should invest more in public transportation to improve the quality of life in urban areas, while others argue that spending should focus on maintaning and enhancing existing road infrastructure for vehicles.
In my opinion, public transport is a cornerstone of every city. It provides residents of cities oportunity to commute or travel around the city. Develope system of public traspor may improve life in urban areas in some aspects. For example, it may reduce level of noise pollution, level of road congestion and level of pollution, becuese less people will use their own cars which could carry such problems .
Another good aspect of investing money in that area, it is cheaper price for reaching destination, becuese it will consume smaller volume of fuel, that makes cities or towns more eco-friendly and more secure for the health.
On the other hand, more and more people buy a own car, and main interest of this group of people is comfort. They do not want to stand every morning and wait for public transport on the bus station. Furthermore, they do not want to stand for hours.They decide for themselves when they start movinng.
To sum up, the goverment have to cover both sides of argument for keeping city in balance.
