In the contemporary modern era, the development of technology has brought humans several benefits as well as disadvantages. It can be seen that the increasing use of artificial intelligence is affected significantly by job opportunities. Some people believe that AI will lead to job losses but other opinions argue that it will create more opportunities in the workplace. From my perspective, I will discuss both aspects and give some relevant examples.
On the one hand, high technology helps us to enhance the level of automation. For instance, car manufacturing plants use robotic arms to assemble vehicles. These robots can do repetitive tasks like welding, painting, and assembling parts with precision. Therefore, the business could reduce production time significantly and cut the cost of manufacturing, resulting in dramatically increased profits. Moreover, thanks to smart sensors, artificial intelligence could assist people monitor production processes more carefully, thereby helping to minimize human errors in manufacturing.
Nevertheless, no matter how advanced modern is, it still has limits in its ability to be flexible and adapt to unexpected situations because people will adjust quickly to come up with solutions in these situations, so humans are always an essential part of the workforce. Besides, humans also could explore new ideas and develop new technologies, which are jobs that robots cannot do.
In short, although technology brings us many challenges, if we know how to balance the benefits and disadvantages, it can support businesses to produce more efficiently.
