In this day and age, many people are using their phones in public places. Some individuals believe that it should be banned, while others argue that people should be free to use them whenever they want. This essay will discuss both viewpoints and present my own opinion.
One of the essential advantages while using mobile phones is that who work online or who have any jobs on social media can always do their works whenever they want. Because numerous individuals work until the night and performing their affairs helps them to not attracting on anything and focusing only on job that they have to do. Additionally, even listening to podcasts online assists people to know more information even when they are in public places. For example, listening to meaningful podcasts is needable to me in view of I am learning English and it helps me to develop my listening skills.
The disadvantages of using mobile phones in public places are that many individuals do not pay attention while scrolling their phones, which causes many serious accidents. Moreover, taking photos or videos may make others feel uncomfortable. Some even record strangers without permission, which is a serious privacy issue. For instance, many social media users film public videos like challenges or vlogs in busy areas where random people appear in the background. These individuals may not want their face to be shared online. Therefore, we should show respect and be careful while recording files.
All things considered, I tend to think using smartphones in public places has both good and bad sides. The important thing that we should know is to not make others feel uncomfortable and be careful while scrolling phones.
