In the contemporary era, there exists a vigorous discourse regarding whether vegetarianism is the only rout to stay health. From my perspective, although plant consumption is instrumental in a healthy lifestyle, it also requires other factors.
One perspective favoring vegetarianism is oriented towards nutrient supplement. To clarify, a high intake of vegetables, fruits and whole grains provides vegetarians with essential minerals and fiber, which positively influence of body’s growth. Furthermore advocates contend that excluding meat from the daily diet likely mitigates the cholesterol level and blood pressure, which are common contributors to a wide range health issues including obesity, cardiovascular diseases, and certain kinds of cancer. Therefore, this becomes an attractive choice for those wanting to stay healthy. However, plant consumption is a restrict diet which can be performed by a minority of people with high discipline. Consequently, such diet might not be applied effectively for the major.
On the other hands, I firmly believe that following a vegetarian lifestyle is not the only way to be healthy. Specifically, if people strike a balance between meat and vegetables, this can also enable them to have a good health. Such balance extends beyond merely providing minerals and fiber as it also encompasses other vital nutrients like protein, vitamin b12, and zinc which just appear in meat. Moreover, a healthy life hinges on a combination of various factors, including both physical and mental health, which can be performed through expanding social networks, establishing a good relationship with other people, doing exercise, or even sleeping adequately. The confluence of these factors has, thus, fostered a healthy lifestyle.
In conclusion, while following a vegetarian lifestyle holds its own merits including ensuring body’s growth and the lower risks of health problems, I maintain that a combination of multiple elements such as balanced diet and physical and mental improvements is the most holistic way to lead a healthy life.
