It is often argued, that travelling overseas is an important for learning students. However, some people genuinly think that it is useless spend of time and money. While abroad traveling for education might be beneficial for learners to absorb information in more interesting way, I largely agree that this approach is not nessecery and even demanding for some countries.
On the one hand, students could develop people’s life and culture in more efficient and interesting way. In certain fields such as history or art it would be even more useful because students might see all artefacts or arts in real life and remember it much better than to read boring materials in books. For example, History lessons would be more intersting due to the fact that many countries have their own history and traveling allows students to see all of it. As a result, traveling could significantly assist students to learn new data not just from the books but from traveling tours.
On the other hand, for many countries traveling overseas is unsuitable. Undeveloped countries such as Kazakhstan or even Poland do not have a large amount of money to invest in traveling tours for learners. It is even hard for them to maintain educational institution in good condition. Many schools and universities in Kazakhstan do not even have interactive board for education. As a consequence, these kind of tours are not crucial and even harmful for governments economy. To sum up, traveling requires a great investment and for certain countries it could be even worse.
In conclusion, in spite of the fact that traveling to another countries might be useful for students to learn history and arts, I strongly believe that for some countries which cannot afford traveling tours, this kind of activities for students could negatively affect country’s economy.
