It is often argued by some that traveling abroad is extremely beneficial, while others maintain that staying at home is preferable. However, I believe that visiting other countries is advantageous for individuals.
On one hand, supporters of international travel argue that it helps individuals feel refreshed after the hectic routines of work. Traveling to different places can greatly enhance one’s well-being by reducing boredom and providing opportunities to explore the world. For example, a well-known hotel manager in the Maldives revealed in an interview that around 80% of guests come from abroad to spend quality time there, which proves to be very beneficial for their mental health. Therefore, traveling is undoubtedly valuable for individuals.
On the other hand, opponents of traveling argue that it is better to stay in one’s home country, as this approach can save both time and money. Traveling domestically reduces expenses and allows individuals to contribute to their own country’s economy more effectively than to foreign nations. For instance, in Nepal, it is projected that by 2028, the number of local tourists will double, helping to support the national economy while minimizing costs. Thus, staying in one’s home country can be more advantageous than traveling abroad.
Nevertheless, I firmly believe that traveling to other places is highly beneficial as it helps people escape boredom and fosters happiness.
In conclusion, while staying in one’s home country may offer advantages in terms of time and expenses, I believe that traveling abroad is a blessing for the overall well-being of individuals, as it rejuvenates both their mind and body.
