Note: Both the topic and the essay were created by one of our users.

It is argued that third-level education should be free of charge, while others claim that it should be paid. In my opinion, universities should be free for all students around the world because making universities free allow talented students to reach their potential. Another reason is that free education helps everyone have the same right. Students from low-income families would be able to go to university, which makes society fairer and gives everyone the opportunity to improve their life. Ultimately, making universities free outweighs the drawbacks.

On the one hand, making universities free allows talented students to reach their potential. Mmany students have skills and motivation to succeed in higher education, but financial problems do not permit them entry to universities. If education would be free, a student would have little worry about tuition fees and could concentrate more effort on learning. Therefore, it will give the government more skilled and educated citizens, to the benefit of the economy. For example, many great scientists, engineers, and doctors might not have succeeded without financial support. Removing these barriers allows talented people to improve themselves.

On the other hand, free university education ensure equal opportunities for every students, regardless of their financial background. Many students cannot afford higher education as their parents earn low income. Making universities free would create a balance in society by giving all students a chance to realize their dreams and build a better future. This would lead to more balanced and fair society. Where success is based on ability rather than wealthy. For instance, in countries with free education, have higher number of professionals from different backgrounds, helping social and economic development.

In conclusion, making universities free enables talent to reach up to what they want to become and offer equal opportunities for everyone, regardless of their financal backgrounds. This, provides a fairer society. Hence, the advantages of providing free university education definitely outweigh the disadvantages.
