Many people think that those in third level education should serve for their community for its development. I totally disagree with this statment because after spending significant time in these activities students don’t have sufficient time for their study. Another notable drawback is, some of these need paid jobs for their survival.
To begin, one of the major drawbacks is lack of time availability. If students spend more time in surving community, they will not concentrate on their academic subjects. Later on, it will effect on their careers as well. For example, in Vietenam, huge number of students are taking participation in development of society, and they are ignoring their university courses, which have negavtive impact on their academic record.
Moreover, another significant disadavantage is instead of surving their community they need paid jobs at that time. In Pakistan, which is an underdeveloping country young generation is limited hand to mouth. Instead of helping their society, they try to find a job for better life. For example, according to a recent survey conducted by a student of the China university, that the students of universities mostly prefer to find a job instead of working for betterment of the society.
In conclusion, volunteering for the advancement of the society is essential for the community. In my opinion, there are countless disadvantages of being a volunteer for the community because student don’t get enough time to focus on their study , which effect their academics. Another factor is, at that time most of learners try to find a job to fulfil their basic needs of life.
