There is no denying the fact that some individuals believe that unpaid internships should be banned. While it is a commonly held belief that the main people who benefit are employers, and disadvantages young people who cannot afford to work without income, there is also an argument that opposes it. In my opinion, I consider that the employers must pay their employees.
To begin with, the young people spend a lot of time and money on daily transport just to arrive to work place. In other words, some individuals do not have sufficient money for daily travel, and these types of circumstances may cause huge pressure, so the employers must give them some financial support. In addition, working without unpaid may affect the level of their productivity, as a result, they will feel disappointed and that lead for reduce the personal productive. For example, if a young individual does not have any financial return from his internship, he will feel uncomfortable and disappointed, so that guide to reduce his productivity and limited his skills.
Another point to consider, when an individual work without any salary, there is a bit of unfairness. It also possible to say that they work hard and left their families just to work and try to improve themselves without any financial return, I think there is unfairness. For instance, government in Saudi Arabia occasionally try provides for us financial income to give us some respect and that encourage us to work hard and develop our skills, so this thing may express a type of fairness.
In conclusion, despite people having different views, I believe that sometimes young individuals need financial support and it is unfairness when they work and have do internship without any income.
