Most of the people think that tourists should follow the countries’ local culture when they travel. But others believe that everyone do not have to follow local behaviour and hosts should respect cultural differences.
When we travel to other countries we usually told to follow their rules and respect. But why? The reason is pretty simple. First, if every visitors act whatever they like, rude to people and disrespect their local ethnics, things will be tough to the host country. Also, acting rude can give damage to national monuments. Throwing rubbish or touching them is a big example. Second, people should have an ability to get use to their environment whenever things get change. This helps people not only with travelling, it has an advantageous side on moving or make a difference on working and studying place. Lastly, by following other customs we always learn something new. Such as dining and dressing etiquettes, knowing difference or similarity of the religion and cultures.
However, on the other hand host countries’ people should welcome cultural differences not visitors. The first reason is if home countries do not respect we can not communicate with each others. Communications depend on respect of each sides. So we must not impose our own culture, etiquettes etc. Next reason is religion difference. Forcing others to follow another religion is a big disrespect. On the last, due to diversity learning new things from abroad countries is a huge change.
In conclusion, I believe that we should respect each others’ behaviour and religion. Because being polite refers with everyone. It does not matter that you are visitor or the hosts.
