A large number of people think that tourists require follow the following cultures and manners. However, other parts of them reject the notion and believe the country must accepts the differences of traditions. This essay will examine both sides perpectives about this statement.
To begin with, local traditions must be respected by visitors, which are strangers and have not any idea with the locals. This is because every countries have their own visible and invisible rules about beliefs. For instance, there is a sentences said in Indonesian “Dimana bumi dipijak disitu langit dijunjung.” which means where it is located in Earth, you must respect the customs in that area. Moreover, some of cultures have believed in different ways throughout civilizations, which visitors are outer people, sometimes they has a misunderstanding about nearby invisible rules and commit something that civilian believe it wrong in there without know anything about it. It will confuse them until they become angrier than the residents, which will leads to international vandalism cases.
However, particular part of them state the people who lived in there must accepts diversity of traditions. The advantages of this behaviour are citizens might learn many traditions around the world. On the other hand, tourists would commit in impolite manners, which worsen their country’s name among locals. For example, in Indonesia, exclude some province such as Bali, wear a bikini are rarely seen, and elderly will critic them directly or just from behind. Ultimately, many people has been believed to the local customs because they are strangers and would act wrongly in that country, but some of them think host country need to be tolerance to beliefs around the world. Personally, i will choose the first customs because they are outer people who are guest in this area.
