Some people think teenagers should be encouraged to participate in community activities, while others believe they need to focus entirely on their study and future career. I support the view that younger generation should prioritize their academic before committing to civil duties.
On the one hand, the younger generation needs to gain more knowledge because in formative years they need a lot of information regarding their future careers.and they may struggle to manage their time well enough to participate in social activities. For example, the young people who have just graduated from high school they need to persue a bachelor’s degrees. They need to prepare documents they need to register, and some require need to learn a new skill as a English. So, I believe that younger people should prioritize their education before committing to civil duties.
On the other hand, some people believe that community involvement is beneficial for adolescents. They argue that volunteering teachers teamwork and empathy, which are essential for personal growth. Nonetheless,by volunteering in neighbourhood programs, the teenagers can also build a strong sense of social responsibility and personal networks. For example, when the young people participate in local environmental charity events can learn how to manage budget and communicate effectively with adults, which help their confidence.
In conclusion, volunteering in the community is good for personal growth, but studying for the future more important.
