Nowadays, zoos are becoming more and more in our planet. There are plenty of opinions that it is necessary for education and conservation, but the most people think that zoos should be closed because of its animal cruelty.
On the one hand, zoos help to save rare animals by taking a part in breeding programs. They teach adults and children how to behave themselves with animals. Additionally, animals in zoos don’t have to hunt to survive and there they have a medical care that does not exist in nature.
On the other hand, animals have been lived in limited space that leads to a stress. There are some zoos that practically do not care enough about animals which is the reason of varied illnesses or early death. Closing the all zoos is a great idea because there are exist humane alternatives,for example, animal sanctuary and national parks.
In conclusion, I would agree to keep animals in zoos, if workers in there were more attentive and caring towards animals. However, I don’t think that it is going to happen soon, so in my opinion it is more correct to keep them either in animal sanctuary or national parks.
