Nowadays, society has disparate opinions about tourism. One part of people considers that it has more advantages than disadvantages. But, I tend to blend both sides.
One of the main reasons is that the local economy improves. In other words, the types of jobs will increase for local people. Tourists can buy souvenirs from the country they are visiting, stay in the hotels there, visit sights and restaurants which will rise the earnings of indigenous residents. Another advantage is that tourism upgrades infrastructure. Tourism improves the construction of airports or affects rebuilding old roads. It also enhances the overall experience, holding interest for more guests. For instance, what is the meaning of glorious locations if the conditions for visits are discomfortable there. Nobody wants to eat street food in countries where the level of sanitation is low or swimming at sea with dirty shore and sticky seaweeds.
As noted at the end of the second paragraph, tourism presents several drawbacks. These issues do not merely exist but lead to problems in touristic zones. Such as, tourists with their visits may bring economic problems to foreign states. Basic products for life could become more expensive for local folk. Their jobs might be unstable and temporary. In addition, it damages the environment. The upgraded infrastructure is a great idea, however it causes changes of landshaft, destruction of regional fauna and flora and so forth. As a result, we understand that any country which hopes to perfect income from tourists should expect poor consequences too.
In conclusion, I strongly believe that people will use the benefits of tourism and prevent unpleasant downsides. This is primarily because we could have improved the economy and spoiled nature. It is important to take advantage of tourism opportunities without harming the environment and the economy.
