I totally disagree with this statement that someone should not pay tax to the state. The government has decided a certain amount of limit if someone earning above the certain amount, then they have to pay tax. Whatever amount of money come to the government though tax, they run the country according that.
Tax money collected by the government is used to fund the basic amenities, provide various services to citizens and for government administration and schemes, projects, running of prison, defense system, other government body and many other operations. If we say that the taxes run the country then it is not wrong. That why government encouraging people to pay taxes and in return government provide more facilities to citizens.
What is the main reason behind unpaid tax. The main reason is that, the people are dissatisfaction with government in serving them. Some people blame government for some reasons like lack of infrastructure, unemployment, corruption and poverty, however they are not completely wrong about that as tax revenue is misused or the other way in every country. Another main reason for dissatisfaction is tax system itself. Most of the time tax system is intricate and as a result people are unlike about the paying tax. Tax rate and tax slabs are in majority case high and unequal for the humans. So, they feel it is not unethical if one goes for tax avoidance or tax.
Not paying taxes can drastically affect a country’s revenue generation and also government fail to run country. Despite the government come this fair tax structure and rate and they display all the things like from where money come and where they utilize or allocated. Maybe it is succor to increase the collection of tax. A proper tax system come up with strict tax laws can make the positive results.
Summing up, I reiterate my opinion by saying that paying tax is the duty of every citizen and the responsibility of government to utilize in appropriately in favor of public interest.
