It is thought by many that the authorities do not have the ability and benefits when to providing free university education for national students. Although this plan is hard for the goverments to perform, I believe there is a significant benefit from investing for a good human resource in the future.
On the one hand, it is undeniable that not every country can affort a budget to free for all student at higher education level. This is because that the government have to face with a huge amount of education costs. A typical example for this is that the tuitor fee for a undergraduated course in Vietnam is really high to cover all operation costs in a university. If the government take responsibility for these costs, our nation have to cut off the crucial budgets for more important fields, such as health care systems. As a result, the idea for providing available for university education should be arranged behind in the near future.
On the other hand, if this plan is performed in countries which have good economic condition, the government can receive the significant benefit from preparing a abandant labour force. This is due to the fact that while the youths have more opportunities to experience excellent education condion, they will improve the quality of national labour resource. For example, Finland has applied the policy of free tuitor for all education level. Thanks for this policy, the young adults of this country have a good education condition. Consequently, young citizens are equiped with higher level of working skills and profession to handle the jobs with high requirements.
In conclusion, while fee university education is really difficult to initiate, I strongly believe that many developed countries can gain mutiple benefit from it.
