Some people argue the most essential factor while purchasing something is the price of it. I believe the opposite. In my opinion, while price is a big factor in deciding whether to buy something or not, there are far more important elements to consider.
First of all, they say, it is always a good idea to choose quality over quantity which overall increases the satisfaction of the customer. The quality of a product determines its longevity as well. As the quality goes up, it is more likely that the product will remain in good condition for a longer time which will bring more satisfaction to the consumer. For example, the tops bought from cheaper places usually become unwearable after two to three uses which is disappointing for the customer.
Secondly, it is important to consider the production environment while purchasing a product. People are responsible for buying ethically produced items which also has environmentally friendly production factories. For example, it a known fact that in fast fashion, children work for up to 14 hours in undeveloped countries and produce huge waste in production.
In conclusion, although it is understandable why people lean towards cheaper products, in the end it is not logical or responsible reasoning because people need to take into consideration that the quality is far more important than the price and be responsible consumers and buy ethically produced items.
