Nowadays there are two totally distinct beliefs of technology, some people suppose that its impact is damaging, as in the nearest future it will be able to control our lives, whereas other side’s opinion is opposite. This essay will elaborate both ideas and argue in favour of the second one with the further explanation.
As to the first point of view, modern world relies on the technologies significantly in every sphere of life, even the things that can be done by a person easily are now put on computers and machinery devises, so this is the main reason for some people to believe in possibility of future control over humankind by artificial intelligence. As an illustration children can be taken, they use computers to solve school tasks and it means that they do not get knowledge, they just use tools, but do not think by themselves. Thus, people will be taken control of due to not being able to produce new thoughts.
On the other hand, living during globalization requires the usage of technologies, as they help to make new supplies quicker, excluding mistakes that can be made by a human and their low speed. It is important to understand, that the developments in each field are here due to existence of technological progress. Any medical tool can be taken as a crucial example, because medicine itself is connected to every living person on the Earth. The needles that are used in almost every hospital, for instance, are made by machines and the possibility to make them one-use-only is given by them as the technologies that are used while manufacturing exist. As a result, less patients get diseases due to multi-used needles with injections.
In conclusion, it is necessary to notice, that both views are understandable, but the significant drawback includes fear of people not to be able to activate their brain neurons. However, the benefits overweight in present, as the ability to use machines nowadays is crucial in medicine.
