Some people believe that too much attention should be given for students’ education and governments should allocate more money to free-time activities for young people. While education is the most essential development, I am convinced that moderation is also beneficial between education and leisure activities.
On one hand, education plays a crucial role in shaping young people’s future. Schools qualify pupils, give significant knowledge and prepare young people for life challenges and difficult tasks which they may be faced with in their life from a young age. If governments reduce funding for education, it may negatively affect the quality of teaching, learning materials, and school facilities. If people don’t teach well at a young age, a number of illiterate people will increase notably in the government which affects negatively for the government’s industry and economy, of course. Literate people mark goverment’s future.
On the other hand, free-time activities are equally important for young people’s overall development. Sports, art clubs, and community programs help teenagers develop social skills, creativity, and physical health. These activities can also reduce pressure, depression and prevent negative behaviours such as crime and vandalism.
In conclusion, governments should give attention to both education and free-time activities in moderation. If attention is given to education, also recreation will not forget.
