Band 5+: Some people prefer to buy second-hand goods, such as clothes, furniture or electronics, rather than buying them new. What are the advantages and disadvantages of buying second-hand goods? Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.

Note: Both the topic and the essay were created by one of our users.

There is no denying the fact that some individuals prefer bying second-hand goods rather than bying them new. While it is a commonly held belief that it is a greate idea when you by a second-hand goods, there is also an argument that is is a negative idea when you them as second-hand.

This essay will analyse this topic from both points of view and express my opinion.

On one hand, when you buy something as a second hand you may spend lower cost than new things such as clothes. In other words, if you buy this clothes direct from a barnd you may spend more money on this piece, but it is a great idea if you by this piece from another person may costs you less than brand. In addition, second -hand items may have a substantial benefit such as have a limit time, which mean you can replace this item after a period of time. For example, when someone buy a second second-hand item such as car, you can replece it after a period of time, so this thing may gives you more flexible and ability to buy different thing.

On the other hand, some of people know that some second-hand goods may be not valid for a long period. It is also possible to say that these items chould have many issues such as brokes or cracks, so you should replece these items minimal use. Moreover, some of these items not clear and not go through a sterial condition. For instance, some of items may have microbes such as virus and bacteria.

In conclusion, there are no eays answers to this question. On balance, I tend to be believe that using second-hand goods it is a bad approach, because may have microorganisms which amy affect our health.
