Owing bicycle and travelling by it was common in past as it was an efficient and cheap way, but nowadays people consider cars to be more reliable. Although, I support the group in favor of cars, merits of bicycle certainly outnumber that of the faster mode.
The reason why I prefer car is the amount of comfort and protection they provide from external elements ,such as rain, wind and extreme temperature, making the journey more pleasant. Additionally, motor vehicles are wise enough to cover an hour long journey than commuting by a bicycle which would be a bit longer. Moreover, motorcars are suitable for carrying multiple passengers or heavy items, making them suitable for family outings or shopping.
On the other hand, travelling by bicycle has its own unique advantages. Cycling is an excellent form of exercise that promotes physical fitness and overall well-being. It also contributes to reducing carbon emission, making it an environmental friendly mode of conveyance.
Furthermore,. bicycles are more cost effective as they do not require fuel and are relatively low maintenance compared to machines. In the time of rising inflation, every individual tends to look after his/her pocket an four wheelers are not doing any help in it.
To conclude, no doubt bicycles offer more advantages than cars, cars are more practical in today’s era. But it is up to each individual to take the decision, which mode of these two is suitable for them to travel.
