Some individuals consider work as the most significant thing in their life and have negligible interest in other activities. While some other people are more concerned about their hobbies and leisure interests than their regular jobs. In this essay, both these views would be discussed.On the one hand, work oriented people are more focused on they concentrate entirely on work not only this but, these people give more priority to work and become more efficient in performing their jobs. Moreover, to be successful in any field a person should focus on a sole thing only then he can become successful in that particular field or task. For instance, great scientist Thomas Edison, who is the inventor of bulb focused solely on his invention for nearly 10 years then only he could become successful.

On the other hand, some people are more enthusiastic about their hobbies and interests for following reasons.People usually get stressed from their daily hectic work schedules and in order to cope with stress, their hobbies play an important role.Apart from this spending time on hobbies and interests leads to development and growth of personnel which is very essential in the life of an individual.Moreover, spending time on activities other than work gives a sense of joy Not only this, it also provides a temporary escape from general issues in person’s life.

In my opinion, every individual should give emphasis to their job but there should be a balance between work and other activities and equal importance should be given to them also .
