There is a common issue about whether the government should spend money on building theaters and sports stadiums or on hospitals and schools. It seems to me that entertaining activities should be put on top of a country’s priority.
To begin with, for cinemas and theaters, it brings a huge benefits to people. Firstly, it is called “a spiritual food” helping people recharge their batteries. Obviously, when people have to work and study all day, they will totally feel exhausted and bored. It is cinemas and entertaining activities that will help them relieve their life burden. This is true for me, after a long day of studying, I have to find some ways to enhance my mental health and reduce stress. Therefore, I usually go outside and watch a movie in theaters, which really help me find my motivation . Thanks to the significant benefits of those films, I can continue my studies effectively. Furthermore, entertainment-related organizations play an important role in countries’s economies. Clearly, the entertainment industry has a lot of development potential, and it will make a great contribution to a country’s budget. Let me take Vietnam for example, national leaders are trying to create good movies as well as entertainment activities to attract domestic citizens’s attention or even foreigner’s . As a result, the more money used for entertaining purposes, the faster the economy rises.
Moreover, when sports construction’s advantages are taken into consideration, it is not only improving the physical health of humans but also creating connections between people. Firstly, sports activities have direct impacts on a person’s health. Certainly, sports help players maintain good health, give them a healthy lifestyle and prevent serious diseases such as diabetes and obesity. Also, sports will provide opportunities for people to interact with others and help them build social skills. Surely, when individuals spend their time playing a sport, they will definitely meet other people who have same hobbies like them and share useful knowledge to help each other better. For instance, my older brother, who is quite shy but after participating in volleyball, he can expand his relationship and become more confident. Thanks to those plays, he makes a lot of good friends and his skills are getting more and more excellent.
In conclusion, there are a variety of factors that help develop a country, and the government, whose obligation is to maintain its nation’s prospects, needs to choose which one is the most suitable. Personally, I sympathize with the idea that sports activities and recreational purposes should be given top priority.
