Technology has development in every sector today including education where students are utilizing digital devices to complete their daily tasks, whereas handwriting is still mandatory for children to practice and memorizing the tasks. Let’s elaborate both of the views with proper reasoning and explanation.
One school of thought says that children are using technical devices for their studies because these consume less time to complete. To compete the in the current world, we have to be familiar with the latest technology that is being using in the modern era. Digital gadgets have made task completion easier for children today because in digital format text is aligned in same pattern and size that easier for them to understand easily. In adition to it, variuos skills which are demanding nowadays are digital one, which is another reason to adopt technology for survival. Everything has been shifting on the internet requiring everybody to follow the route, this also benfits in a sense to developing decsipline in the children.
Other school of thought believe physical skills are still impotrant in current times because it helps students to develops learing skills when they perform tasks physically by hand. They believe that when children write something by hand it make connection with minds to memorize the things easily. Moreover, when somebody have written anything
by hand, it will be used in any panademic during power balckouts, technology cuts and any other disaster. They think that things written with hand are creative and there is emotoinanl attachment in that.
In my opinion, no doubt technology has taken place everywhere fulfiling the demands virtually without physical attachment, physical skills are still required to demonstrate things easily by building connection physically.
