In the contemporary society it’s a prevailing debate rather government need to be in charge of getting kids into educational institutions, while others concur that parents should be responsible for this duty. While perspective holds merit, I firmly believe that latter statement is more truthful.
First of all, there are a lot of advantages when transportation is on authorities. Since parents are occasionally occupied to transport their children to school. Additionally, it is evident that there would be equality and safety regardless equipment. For example, government-provided transports are able to ensure all children, despite the family background. For example, children living in rural areas may face long and risky journeys and a lot of disadvantages if transport is not provided.
On the other hand, people who consider that parents are responsible for this duty are true at some point. Because authorities have set a lot of priorities for the foreseeable future of younger generation. Parents are in charge of being responsible about their daily care, and nurturing them until the adolescence. For instance, some parents by themselves prefer spending quality of time with their children and better manage school schedules. Furthermore, relying entirely on government can set a heavy financial setbacks on public budget, especially in countries with limited resources.
Taking aspects that have been mentioned above into consideration, it is evident that authorities involve safety and equal access to the education. However, parents are also in charge of sharing responsibilities by supporting and supervising their children’s daily routine. A balanced approach is therefore the most sufficient solution.
