Some people believe that governments should only help people inside their own country and should not spend money supporting other nations. However, I disagree with this opinion because international assistance is important in the modern world.

If governments focus only on their own territory, these problems will continue grow and may become more serious. For example, when an earthquake happen in a poor country, international aid can provide food supplies, medical help and shelter for the victims. Secondly, helping other countries can also bring advantages to the country that gives support.
