According to many individuals, government of any nation should be responsible for facilities of healthcare and education, but on contrary to that many people believe, it is a personal responsibility. Although having these as personal responsibility ensures that people get best amenities, I believe it is a government’s responsibility as it is related to all citizens.
On one hand, when people have to decide about medical and education facilities, they tend to choose best out of all themselves because humans want themselves to be ahead of others and as it is a natural tendency. For example, As per a survey conducted by the Times of India, Majority of people wants Top ranking hospitals, schools and colleges to be in their nearby areas. However, It is quite difficult for all denizens to access such amenities.
On the other hand, Hospitals and education facilities are necessary for all the citizens, which makes them a hot-topics for authorities to think and work upon to constantly upgrade so each and every individual of country can take benefits of such amenities without any worry. To illustrate better, Germany has Free hospitals and colleges for its citizens so any of its civilian don’t fall behind in terms of health and literacy. Furthermore, This benefits people economically as government facilities are cheaper than that of private.
To conclude, Having healthcare and education as their own responsibility made people to select best for them. I believe, as it concerns all the civilians, government should take responsibility of these sectors.
