There is an opinion that in current education, from elementary school to university, most schools place emphasis on factual learning, and there is little time to learn practical skills.
Factual learning is effective in learning basic and aims to understand the results derived from research of educational institutions and scholars to date.
On the other hand, learning practical skills has the advantage that students can ajust to tasks more quickly when they enter society and work.
In my opinion, it is better to learn practicall skills at an earlier stage in one’s students life. This is because there are overwhelmingly more experts in each field who have been training since childhood, and this is also proven by research results. In order to achieve results that stand out from others, more time should be spent on it, and to do this learning that is not directly related to that field should be omitted.
In conclusion, basic learning is very important, but in order to create human resources who can contribute to society as experts, I would like educational institutions to reconstruct their leaning currciculum to maximize individual abilities without sticking to traditional method of education.
