There is an ongoing debate over whether science should have more financial investments than other fields. I totally agree with this idea because science is a rapidly developing subject with the help of advanced technology, and most of the institutions lack scientific resources.
Nowadays, science is expanding fast due to advanced technology, and more funding is needed to support this equipment. Since technology is expensive, more money should be allocated to keep up with today’s standards. As it would provide adequate equipment to make scientific research easier with well-funded facilities. As a result, academics and students might have a lot of opportunities to further develop this field to a greater extent. For example, a person who has better resources in hand will be able to research faster compared to an individual who has insufficient equipment.
The second reason is that most of the research institutions lack scientific resources. Due to limited budgets, even some universities cannot provide enough lab material and basic computers. Economic problems put a huge drawback on science, where most of the third-world countries suffer from it. Moreover, not only does it create this major issue, but also it slows down education, development, and research. Therefore, if governments want to solve this problem, fundraising organizations can be established to assist.
Overall, some individuals think more funds should be allocated for science rather than other academic fields. To me, the lack of scientific resources in less developed countries and expensive technologies are the indicators that people should invest more money.
