It is widely argued that more money needs to be spent on science rather than on other subjects. Although science is important, I believe that there are subjects which should not be ignored, such as law and languages.
On the one hand, science consists of many useful fields like biology and physics, which can save human lives and improve them by allocating a large percentage of money to them. Increased funding in chemistry could pave the way to curing some diseases, or in physics, they could develop their ideas in order to invent some kind of technology for our society. As a result, poor families would not suffer since medicine became more accessible and we can even observe a growth in trust for scientific discovery due to the work done by experienced researchers.
On the other hand, there are many fields that can be useful such as law which regulates people, and math. The reason why many children learn math from the start of the school year is that it can improve their critical thinking by calculating issues on their brains, and it is also the foundation of many science subjects that are chemistry and physics. Law and humanitarian fields, many politicians study especially in this field since it provides all the main sources how to govern a state. Less regard to law can cause an increase in crime and disorder among the public, in other words, if law does not remain a primary subject, it may lead to the collapse of the state.
In conclusion, although science can be advantageous by increasing the quality of life and life expectancy, I strongly hold the opinion of maintaining the importance of numerous other subjects as essential fields.
