The comparision between music and culture has been continuing from ages. People say that it increases mutual understanding between humans having diversified culture. In my opinion, it is very true.
First of all, music can bring joy as well as sorrow to people. The aims of music is entertaining, motivating, and awaring the people. These aims is always valid. People come close together through music because people have taste on music. For instance, I love western music, eventhough I am from Nepal. The music, I listen, bring the sense of closeness to the western culture. It feels like I am from that culture too. This uplifts the bonding and mutual understading between the people, even if we are from different tradition.
It is obvious that music bring the people of different age together. To exemplify, the national anthem, we all listen to, brings people ranging from children to elder together. Me and my grandfather develop a feeling of patriotism when we listen to the national song. During this period we both have feeling toward our country. This binds our mutual relationship ever more. Similarly, me and my friend develop a sense of braveness, if we listen to the country music before starting a game such as football. The King of nepal, Prithivi Narayan Shah, used to stir up the people patrotism by forcing them to listen the patriotic music.
Many people may have different views about music, but it is conspicious that it will bring all of them at a same place if they hear similar music. So, music is essential part of people lives, and it should be preserved forever.
