Children like a flower, need care and safety to grow up. Some people say that parents play a crucial role in their improvement, whereas other people opine that other environmental factors, such as friends and TV, also play a significant role in their development. This essay will discuss both perspectives, but I believe all of the factors are equally important for their better future.
There are many reasons why some people say that parents play an extraordinary duty for their children’s upbringing. Parents are the only people who love their child unconditionally. They teach children how to socialize and how to interact with other people. They teach us myriad of skills to live in the world, they always motivate us to focus on our goals in our failures. That why some people think that parents are the most precious people who help their children compared to others.
On the other hand, those who say that other factors such as friends and TV, play an essential role. For example, when children play with their peers, they feel relaxed, learn many technical skills about computer programming, have ideas about critical problem solving, such as math. Most importantly they learn socialization. The children have no age gap or generation with their friends, so they can share anything about their life. Also when they have a bad relationship with their parents they can get help from their peers mentally and physically.Another factor TV also plays an important role but it depends on the content of the program and how they watch. If they watch with adults instead of alone then it is good. Many TV channels broadcast learning, problem solving and socialization programs that help the children’s development.
In my opinion, we cannot generalize which is superior. I think all of the things are inextricably related for betterment of the children’s behavior and growth.
In conclusion, undoubtedly parents, friends and TV have a great influence on children development but I think all of these things are equally important.
