The discussion about whether or not if there should be physical exercise at schools has became a debate issue in our modern society. Personally I believe that, the physical exercises do Improve our physical and mental state. I feel this way for several reasons which I will elaborate in the following essay.
First of all, at school age the kids need to improve their physical capabilities by doing as much physical activities as they can to have much stronger bones and muscles. It is obvious that kids sitting at school chairs for hours nonstop, at an age where they should be moving and improving their bodies might affect it crucially over time. For example, before I joined the school basketball team my physical strength was not as improved as it is now. And on top of it, currently I am still active in sports due to my jocular teenage life style, that school endorsed me to have.
Secondly, it is scientifically proven that, in teenage years people need to have a physical activity to overcome their mental struggles and In my opinion, schools should endorse teenagers to particular physical activities for them to have a better mental state along with a more successful academic life. Personally, it helped me overcome my problems a ton.
Furthermore, team sports improve people socially as well. For example, at a basketball team or a football team you meet with a lot of people who can help you have an immense improvement physically and psychologically. And on top of that, for my case, a huge part of my friendships are coming from the sports I did and they did help me through life in physical and psychological way to improve it for better.
In conclusion, I agree that schools should prioritize the physical improvements as much as they care about academical success, which at the end of the day are very correlated. Therefore, governments should mandate at least one hour a day of physical activities in every school.
