Part of people believe that with the arrival of online e-books, that public libraries will become an item of the past, but still exist detractors that statement, who absolutely confident that civic libraries will work for a long time. I with certainty say that temple of knowledge never lost it is relevance.
Those who believe that public libraries will soon become obsolete argue that the rise of e-books and digital reading devices has made physical books less necessary. They point to the convenience of e-books, which can be easily downloaded and stored on a device, and asset that this has led to a decline in people visiting libraries to borrow physical books. Additionally, they argue that the costs associated with maintaining physical libraries, such as buying and storing books, are unnecessary in the digital age. However, internet books might conserve usage of trees for books.
On the other hand, those who believe that civic libraries will never disappear contend, that they play a vital role in society beyond just lending books. Libraries serve as community hubs where people can come together for events, classes, and other activities. They also provide access to resources such as computers and internet access for those who may not have them at home. Furthermore, social libraries serve as important repositories of knowledge and culture, preserving books and other materials for future generations.
In my opinion, public libraries will continue to serve an important role in society despite the rise of e-books. While e-books offer convenience, there will always be a demand for physical books and the services that libraries provide.
