Some individuals think that the government is required to use more money on the schooling of adolescents while others believe that the majority of the government budget must be allocated to elderly citizens. I wholeheartedly believe that a significant portion of the government expenditure must be used to educate young people since educated and qualified young people would increase older people’s quality of life. On the other hand, a specific amount of money should be spent on supporting elderly people because of important necessities.
On the one hand, it is undeniable that the financial situation of countries heavily depends on the young generation as adolescents work in different sectors, including tourism and industrial sectors. This means that youth provides a high share of the government’s revenue since they are employed by the government, local stores, and global companies. Moreover, the young generation who is well-educated and has public awareness would properly use public resources and reduce the government’s financial burden. For instance, youth who gained experience in the recycling process would reduce environmental problems and the amount of money wasted. Therefore, government officials must build new facilities, such as libraries, and provide numerous opportunities to increase their information regarding these subjects.
However, we cannot deny that older people who gained experience in different fields and learned sagas and epics regarding their culture and traditions play a crucial role in improving the community’s life standards. In other words, some elderly people are highly qualified experts to detect problems and overcome these barriers even though they lead to drawbacks for the government and society. Furthermore, they represent the cultural strength of the nations, which increases the strength of relationships between family members. As a result, a small portion of financial resources should be spent on taking care of older individuals.
By way of conclusion, the young generation is profoundly significant for government officials to strengthen the financial status of countries. Therefore, from my point of view, a great deal of revenue is required to be used for schooling. However, supporting elderly nationals is extremely significant to ensure the cultural heritage.
