Many people believe that showing crimes on Tv and newspapers should be stopped by government, because media coverage of violent crimes is encouraging criminals and frightening people. I am partially agree with this statement and the same will be discussed in further paragraphs.
On the one hand, thare are many reasons behind why media should shows some violent crimes one of the main reasons is that people need to know about new crimes. To explain it further, today crimes are happening around the world and people do not know about, how criminals does this. Also, they do not even know what type of place criminals selecte for crime. Moreover, thay do not about new crimes which are happening with many people in their city. Hence, it is good to know about crimes, so that they can protect their self from violent crimes.
On the other hand, there are some negative side of showing crimes on TV and newspapers by media. One of the main negative sides is that build criminals confidence. To put it simply, there are many criminals who watch TV and read newspapers. Moreover, after watching crime news on media, they try their hand on that particular crime, because media shows every single detail about crime which helps other criminals to get information about particular crime. After collecting information, they also try their hand on that crime.
To sum up, although sometimes it is good to share information about crime to protect people, also some criminals get that information from media and they also influence to do that particular crime.
