It is argued that the main environmental cause of our time is the loss of different types of animals and species, while some people say that there are more essential environmental causes. I am convinced that other environmental problems, such as air emission is the main environmental problem of our time.
Nowadays, the condition of a particular animal and plant species is lost because of the environmental disaster. In many countries, the number of species has rapidly declined to an emergency level and needed much attention from the authorities. Orangutans, for example, lost their habitat because of the deforestation that was done by companies looking for new land for their agricultural purpose. As a result, the companies need real actions to mitigate and manage the loss of habitat for many species.
On the other hand, other environmental problems, such as air pollution are the essential problems that happen nowadays. This is supported by several attempts, such as the quality index of air emissions and the increased number of respiratory diseases. Based on research, 8 of 25 people have a risk of having a respiratory infection due to of the quality air index in many countries, and this does not just happen in adult people but more risk to children. Consequently, this is the main environmental problem that all stakeholders need to pay attention to so there are preventive actions can be taken.
In conclusion, Despite of the loss a number of particular animals and plant species, I believe that other environmental problems, such as air emissions are the essential environmental cases that happen nowadays.
