According to a lot of people how someone dresses reflects where they came from and their personality traits. It is clear that we can have an idea about someones culture by observing their attires but it would be extremely difficult to assess anyones character using the same method.
People put on clothes according to their surroundings and how they were nurtured. It is quite common for people to wear differently despite living in the same country because there are some key factors that plays a pivotal role on shaping someone taste for clothings. Ethnicity, family styles, and religion drives the wardrobe fashion sense of a person. So, the culture that lies within a person can be easily identified just by having a close look.
On the other hand, the character of a person is more related to their education, thought process, behavior, attitude and life experience. Hence, to tell about anyones character based on how they dresses would prove to be incorrect most of the times. It is important to know that person well to understand their personaity. For example, if I wear any traditional Bengali clothes anyone can guess that I am from southeast asia region but to have a clear idea about my persona they have spend time with me, know my likes and dislikes, how i think and so many other things.
Therefore, it can be said that the clothes do represent a lot about someones origin and where they belong but to assess a persons character establishing personal communication or bond is the main principal.
