Some individuals argue about the amount of time that children spend on unimportant task, and this time should be invested on their studies. I totally agree with the statement and I think that if children spend more time on their education, they will be more successful in a long run.
Opponents of this Idea claim that schools, institutions, and universities are experiencing an increasing number of students who are not interested in subject and are forced to educate only because of their parents. This phenomenon has devastating effects both on children lacking interset in the subject as well as real enthusiasts of the courses through slowing the overall cognition, efficiency, and learning pace of the class. Additionally, some individuals have different intentions and abilities rather than academics. Pushing them to only focus on courses being held in school is not promising for all people.
However, I believe that the amount of time people learn something is shorter in early ages so children should use this privilege in order to boost productivity, which results in long-term benefits. One barrier of this progress is modern technology hindering kids’ and teenagers’ abilities to pay enough attention to classes. This concern is more prevalant in developing countries like the U.S. in which students are provided with their own smartphones and laptops, spending significan amount of time gaming, scrolling reels, chatting, and watching videos.
In conclusion, while some may argue that nudging children toward academic subject may results in poor results, I think that parents ought to help kids through limiting their disturbing devices to aid them acquire a good career in the future.
