Band 6+: Some people think children have the freedom to make mistakes, while other people believe that adults should prevent children from making mistakes. Discuss both sides and give your opinion.

Note: Both the topic and the essay were created by one of our users.

Some argue that the freedom to make mistakes is beneficial for children’s self-improvement, while others believe that parents should prevent their children from making mistakes. This essay will discuss both viewpoints; however, I believe that children should be given many opportunities to make mistakes in order to learn valuable lessons.

It is easy to see why many individuals believe that making mistakes is important for children. The world, as seen through the eyes of young people, differs significantly from that of adults. Allowing children to make mistakes helps them change their perspectives and understand life more deeply. Without the opportunity to make mistakes, children may struggle to grow and learn how to navigate challenges over time. This is especially true during childhood, when experiences shape their development.

However, some people argue that parents should intervene to prevent mistakes. They believe that children are vulnerable and need protection from harmful consequences. In certain situations, such as safety-related issues, adult intervention is crucial. Parents aim to guide their children and help them avoid pitfalls that could lead to negative outcomes.

My own opinion is that making mistakes is necessay to allow for children in order to their essential development. From the mistakes, those experiences teach resilience and critical thinking, ultimately preparing them for adult life.

In conclusion, while there are valid arguments on both sides, many people claim that children should be encourage to make the mistakes due to the valuable lesson they can learn after overcome that, while others believe that the opportunities to make the mistakes from young people is bad because of the harm the mistake make. I am of the opinion that making mistakes is not too terrible when it can bring to young people the time to significantly improve and learn the meaningful lesson for the next period of their life.
