It is believed by some that children should go to school at an early age, while other people believe that children should not go to school until they are older. While I accept that going to school at an early age might be an auxiliary factor in the process of acquiring social skills, I tend to think that children should start studying when they are older.
On the one hand, it can be true that it is more appropriate for children to start studying early. People who advocate for this policy claim that it might help children to adapt to society at a young age. Children will learn to make friends, express themselves, and work in groups. That will develop their communication skills and lead them to self-confidence and discipline. This view also suggests that studying might be more effective when children are young, since their brains are more likely to absorb new information and obtain various skills.
On the other hand, I side with those who believe that children should go to school when they are older. Some young children might not be ready to spend their time away from their parents, they might feel overwhelmed and stressed. This might build a negative perception of school and studying in their minds. Additionally, I am convinced that children should spend as much time with their parents as possible, in order to develop strong familiar bonds. Childhood is an extremely valuable period, and children should spend it with their parents, who love and support them unconditionally.
In conclusion, although starting going to school early might help children to obtain valuable social skills and knowledge, I believe that children should start going to school when they are older. It is essential for children to spend childhood, the carefree and blissful period of their lives, with their family.
