There has been always two varius apporaches while facing an unpleasant life situation. While some individuals believe in trying to be consent and satisfied with the current life condition, others are in favour of striving for a better and higher status of life. This essay illustrates that by satisfying with the current life situation, people have more peace although by making efforts for improvement, individuals posses more self-steem which I highly claim that is more precious than short-time peace.
One the one hand, people who try to see the glass half full have always been peaceful. When people do not demand a lot in their lives, they will not be throwing themselves in the hardship of the way to reach higher triaumph. Also, the way of improving life especially in some cases demands suffering not only long-time stress but also intense physical and mental tension. Therefore, improvement will cost them loss peace and comfort. As an example, if my cousin had not immigrated to another country, she would not have to come out of her comfort zone, and tolerating minor stress and anxiety. Hence, immigration to a better country had costed her losing solace before she settled down.
One the other hand, changing the life situation to a better one will end up gaining higher self-confidence. Although people have to face plenty of hardship, this will turn out to be a means of growth both inside and ouside. Besides, improvement will be the unignorable evidence of life-long self-worth and self-confidence. Namely, when my cousin had moved to another courty, after dealing with severe setbacks, she came to this belief that she could do everything in her life which caused her go from strenght to strenght.
By and large, some people reckon content is better than fighting for a better life status. Nonetheless, others argue that endavour for acheiving more is worth tolerating. This essay highly argue that struggling for a better life will pay off all the short-time negative cosequences like losing comfort and peace by life-long self-esteem.
