It is sometimes argued that news has no relation to individuals’ being, as reading newspapers and watching television news programs is a waste of time. From my perspective, I would contend that news brings many benefits to our spirit because it connects citizens to the government in the country, following by providing important information that is crucial for public safety, financial planning, and personal decisions.
First and foremost, news helps residents to connect with the presidents directly. By following the news programs about government policies, tax changes, healthcare reforms, and upcoming elections, individuals could make their decisions more correctly. Without the stream of information, people could likely to be incapable of participating and contributing effectively to civic duties in a lawful way. As a consequence, the productivity of individuals would decline due to their unawareness.
Moreover, people could rely on news to grasp major information comprehensively. Obviously, reading newspapers and watching news programs help individuals to update important information in wide range of categories, giving them chances to make more positive decisions. For instance, up-to-the-minute updates regarding evacuation zones, transport closures, and emergency safety protocols would help individuals to proactively adjust their travel plans, secure their properties, and avoid hazardous areas.
In conclusion, while there are many people who believe in the waste of reading newspapers or watching news programs, I maintain that its disadvantage is outweighed by advantages due to its helpfulness in decision-making. Furthermore, it is predicted that there would be a significant decline in man-made catastrophes because of the awareness of citizens about updating official information.
