There is a fierce debate on whether junior school students shouble be accessed to global news, which is conducted as their course. The critics deem it is time-wasting, as limited knowledges that students have and time-efficient that news possess. From my perspective, I approve that early learning about worldwide news is necessary to students, which advantages overweight disadvantages.
From politics news to recreational rumors, it is clear that numerous news appear from all over the world, which need the ability for teenage students to distinguish such imformative messages that benefits for their development. To be specific, young as most of secondary school students are, they are easily misguided by these polished news which contain fakes and frauds, publishing some inappropriate and naive reviews without considering the consequence. In addition, the time effcient as the most international news are, few of these activities will remain ink on the history book, driving the conclusion that they are meaningless compared with complusory subjects like maths and languages which have widely usage in individual promotion and career pursuit.
However, it is these shortcomings that the eduction bureau have obligation to set lesson for junior school stuidents to identify the valuable news where students can borden their horizon and have oppotunities to communicate their opinions on international issues. Moreover, were students not explored to the world-range reality, they may never learn the difference between culture, never experiense the diversity of culture, never understand the peaceful and equality matters in many proverty countries. Therefore, a course specially for international news contribute to diminshing the discrimination with stereotypes.
In conclusion, under no circumstance can we deny the suggestion to set a new subject for world news. With connection to the worldwide society, I believe students in secondary school will enjoy the colorful and educational class.
