It is argued that jail systems are not a good method to solve crime. Instead of this punishment, some people believe that rehabilitative measures are more effective. Personally, I am of the opinion that forcing crime to live in prisons is the best solution due to its influence on our community.
To begin with, educational solutions are not strong forms of punishment. This is because they have excessive freedom to behave, and these kinds of punishments are not enough for felonies to be nervous and scary. It leads to civil unrest and the huge number of crimes who tend to recommit.Moreover, jail systems also consist of training and activities for prisoners. For example, in Vietnam, rehabilitative measures are applied for young crime even if they are murderers. As a result, there is a huge number of criminal teenagers
In addition, living a long time in prison is an effective method to deter people from future reoffences and it is also a stern warning to our humanity or a smaller community. This is because they have a huge amount of free time to remember their family, their bad actions and most prisoners regret. Moreover, it is a sweeping punishment because crimes are forced to be isolated within the community, and numerous students have knowledge about this punishment.Consequently, this measure contributes to a civil society as well as social progress and decreases civil unrest. As a prime example, 70 percent of felony in the UK succeed to be normal workers and never recommit, according to a research in this country.
In conclusion, forcing crimes to spend their time living behind bars can be argued to be too heavy for a punishment. However, I am of the opinion that this measure is extremely effective and suitable because of its effects on society.
