Some people believed that people over 18 years old should learn about what they want in the university, while others believe that they should study only the subjects that will be helpful for society in the future.Although, the first opinion can influence development on other professions, i believe that studying a current subject, will be more useful and valuable.
Students have the right to choose their desired faculties. A lot of people prefer the creative professions, which undoubtedly promotes development of the art and open the new perspectives. For example, the world most popular artist, Leonardo Da Vinchi, contributed to the development of anatomy and mechanics. However, the overwhelming majority of art faculties graduating students became a simple teachers and don’t bring enough value into future.
I believe that studying a helpful subjects will have a great positive impact on the peoples in university and whole society. Increase number of technology or IT employers will assist us to achieve progress and spread the idea of rationalism. In instance, the 90% of famous philanthropist and great figures actually are technology faculty graduates. For this reason, studying helpful subjects have a big advantage over the others.
In conclusion, although university students can study whatever they like, I believe that studying a useful subjects will be more beneficial not only for students but also for society.
